Loading mobile ready Scorm courses?

Hello,

We have a customer who has some courses they are trying to load that include desktop versions as well as mobile versions.

1. Is there anything specific that needs to be done when loading a mobile version of a Scorm course?
2. Do you upload 1 course that includes both desktop and mobile versions and will Totara determine which to use based on device size?
3. Are we to load the course as 2 separate courses, one for desktop and one for mobile?
4. Are there any settings when uploading a mobile course that we need to select to tell Totara the course being uploaded is for mobile?

Any additional information you might have would be greatly appreciated!

Hi John,

I've seen courses loaded wiht all mobile content in one and all desktop in another and the user chooses which to take. You can also allow them to choose from one or the other object within a course - that does get a little trickier when it comes to course completion rules, but you can setup access restrictions that are more complex and the user can complete one thing or another thing to move on to the next activity. There are not settings within Totara to identify a mobile versus a desktop course, though you could use tagging or a custom course setting to add that value and then make it available in the course catalog when a user is making their course selections.
