Enable learners to be emailed upon completing a course via a course setting.

Hi George,

This would be really useful as we'd like to email learners a couple of weeks after completion of a course for evaluation purposes.

Hi Alan,

My answer was aimed specifically at Steph's requirement but I agree that this would be a useful enhancement. I would however make sure that any development wasn't specifically around courses but made generic. If I were designing it I would have a single central notification system that can work off of events and where you can write additional plugins to add notifications for any core functionality or third party plugins. Adding the ability to filter notifications by 'function' e.g. a specific program or face to face would give you the same functionality that we currently have but a single code base.
