TL-8372 Enable Management of Default fields in User Profile

Manage default user profile fields on the same way that is possible for custom profile fields, e.g. hide, show, make them mandatory etc.

Improvements should include:

each of the functionality that is possible for custom user profile fields
rename the fields (change label of the field)
change order of the fields (move up and down)
make a field mandatory
show/hide field
display on signup page
should be unique etc.

I'd like to show my support for this possible improvement.

Currently we display all types of profile fields and the ability to edit them to fit our details would be of great benefit.

Replying to this for visibility - this request is a number of years old now but still something that appears to be missing. Being able to make standard fields mandatory is something that would be really valuable.

At the moment, the only way to make, for example, the country field mandatory, is to create a new custom user profile field and mark that as mandatory, therefore having the same question twice on the registration form - not the greatest user experience.

Is there anything in the works to support this?
