In order to simplify content creation process, we are planning on removing content license metadata feature in one of the future release. Before doing this, I would like to assess if this is going to affect anyone or whether someone considers this to be an important part of their set up. 

License metadata can be enabled in administration and requires system users to select how each piece of their content is licensed. This is not something we've seen widely used in social environments and our assumption is that it creates extra form elements that might be simply ignored by the users.

So far the discussion is about keeping the page block "License", but removing the license from each separate content item.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
