I'm looking on creating an extension to share certificates and badges from Totara/Moodle to Totara social.

My current thoughts where to create a plugin for Moodle/Totara which lists the certificates and a user could click on a share link which would redirect them to their Totara social plugin. The plugin would send an image to Totara social of the badge or certificate with some descriptive text which would be displayed on the users feed.

A second phase option would to have a list of certificates displayed on their profile that they have completed.

This would require an extension on Totara to receive certificates and a plugin on Totara/Moodle to share the certificates.

What are everyone thoughts on this ?

What do people use more badges, Mod Certificates or Mod simple certificates ?
