Reporting - how to set a course completion report to report on one course only

We want to create a custom report in Totara available to one manager so she can view completions of our Equality and Diversity course across our whole organisation. Let's say for simplicity sake, we have 3 courses in our system:

Equality & Diversity
Fire Safety
Information Security

How do I set up a course completion report that just reports on the Equality & Diversity course?

I can see how to set up a course completion report for all courses.

I want to filter "at source" - rather than allowing her to see all course completions and then being able to "drill-down" to just see the Equality & Diversity course completions.

We're using Totara 2.7 - hoping to upgrade to 2.9 shortly.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

You can create the standard course completion report and apply a filter to view only Equality & Diversity, then click "Save this search". After saving it, some of the options could be:

  • When viewing the saved search, take the URL and give it to them directly
  • Take the URL and put it somewhere on the site (maybe a custom menu item)
  • Set-up a scheduled report in My Reports, and have the saved search report send to that user on a regular basis.

Hope that helps in some way.

Ian
