Is it possible to disable Learning Plan creation for regular learners?

Hi all,

Been doing a deep dive into competencies, learning plans and evidence to support performance management in our given vertical (Retail Pharmacy - where comptenice).

Firstly we want to stop regular learners creating their own Learning Plans. This sho

Secondly we don't want learners to add competencies (or courses if enabled) to their plan.

We'd like the UI elements and underlying permissions to restrict those actions to just their Manager.

A learners interaction with the plan should be restricted to adding comments and linked evidence to the plan.

I'd be very interested in hearing advice / suggestions on this.

Hi Ben

Each Learning Plan is able to have it's permissions for roles modified through custom workflows (Site admin > Learning Plans > Manage templates > Select Edit for the template you want to modify)

Select Workflow tab > Custom wrokflow and Advanced workflow settings

To prevent Learners from creating Plans select the Plan tab and Deny

For restricting competency and course permissions select the tabs for these and Deny the Update and anything else you don't want learners to access.
