You can send bulk emails from within the course.

• Navigate to Navigation > Current course > Participants
  
• Once you've clicked on participants you will see a list of all the enrolled learners in the course.
  
• You can then either select individual learners or select all learners.
  
• Then using the drop down menu next to "With selected users..." you can then choose to send a message.
  
• This will take you to a screen where you can create your message.
  
• Once you're happy with the message click on Send message and this will send the message as an email to the enrolled learners.
