Good morning,

We are concerned about TS user privacy in that the default setting appears to be that a user's email address is visible on the user's profile. 

Please advise how we can make it hidden for all users and the only way for one community user to make contact with another is via the community and not direct email.

HI Kate and Hoa,

I'm checking the settings and not seeing a way to hide the user's email address in Totara Social 3. I am passing that information back to the team.

Hi, Kate

Wesley is correct in saying it's not possible to hide user email addresses in Totara Social. As part of our Product Platform Strategy where Totara Engage will replace Totara Social, it should be possible to hide email addresses because user management will be part of the Totara Core business logic layer, whereby it is possible to hide user email addresses.
