We are about to implement Totara. Previously our organization has not had an LMS.
We have hundreds of resources including QRG's, videos, eLearns etc (most of which we have developed internally) and we would like to know what options there are to make it easy for employees to access this content on demand.
I'm interested to learn from others if there is functionality to include a search field that allows employees to search for particular topics, or could we assign the content to categories eg Excel training and all the available resources are displayed under sub categories like QRGs, videos etc. It would be great it there was also functionality allowing employees to submit their learning preferences.
Our existing content is currently delivered through our Intranet. Knowing what options will be key for us to decide what content (if any) we move over to the LMS and will it provide a better learner experience.
Any thoughts, comments, ideas are most welcome!
