User archive course completion?

User archive course completion?

Hi All - Excuse the vague subject

We have a fair few single activity courses (SCORM) which are not part of any programs or certifications but do require the users to recomplete in an ad-hoc manner.

Example - In 2015 user needs a corporate credit card for their role so they complete the course requirement as part of their application - This evidence is then reviewed by the issuing party before issuing the card.

In 2016 they move to a role that doesn't need it, so cancel their card

In 2018, They're back in a role that requires a corporate card, and are required to redo the course  They can record a successful SCORM attempt but the course completion never updates and the issuing body declines the application (this is a real-life scenario)

I know that there is the ability to archive course completions for the entire course but nothing that I can see to allow this to be done on an individual basis (preferably triggered by the user, rather than admins have to facilitate)

Does anyone have any ideas on a way around this?

Thanks

Nevin

It depends on which version you are using but in Version 11 onwards - as an admin you can by using the completion editor for the individual activity in course administration.

The user cant do this though. It might be possible to use the user purge function but you would need to set up a purge for just the completion of that individual course and is probably not a great idea to do incase someone picks a different option and uses the puge function to delete all their data by mistake - Which would not be good.
