Scheduling a report to save to a file system

Hi,

I just set up a scheduled report to save to a file system only. I have looked everywhere to determine how this actually happens. Does it prompt me at the designated time to save, therefore requiring me to log into Totara at the scheduled time? How does it work? I looked at documentation and no luck.

Hi Lyn

You don't need to be logged in for the scheduled report to run or require any input from the user. 

The cron should automatically run and the scheduled task Generate scheduled reports will create the files and store them  to the location set in the Report General settings
