When adding users to a course, can the list of potential users be customized to be shown alphabetically or by increasing numeric value for Employee IDs?

The id number doesn't show on the user selection for enrolment - to make this show go to Site admin > Permissions > User policies > Show user identity and select the id number .
The order of the fields is not able to be changed but you can then search by the id number which is quicker than searching by name.
