Problem:

At present the date of issue in the certificate activity module is not reset on re certification. 

This means a certificate cannot be re-issued with a new date.

Suggested Solution:

Enable the date to be reset, it also might be worth considering the other placeholders such as course name, completion date etc. This could reflect whatever conditional course & recert pathways taken by the learner.
