We're having trouble getting the course total to display as percentage. Under setup ==> Course Grade Setting we have it set to percentage, but it still totals the grades. Any thoughts?

I've included a screenshot of the setup. As you can see the Course Total is a sum total, instead of an average of the two weighted assignments. The other screenshot is where I have the grade display type as percentage.

What is the Learner seeing? I've set up same in the course total & given a test learner 66 as a mark for both activities:
I set the Grade display type to Real(percentage) under Course grade settings.

Just FYI -- our problem was that we were looking at the Course Completion block we had added to the user's page. Unless I'm missing something, I can't seem to make it appear as a percentage, so we're just going to remove it to eliminate the confusion (unless you happen to know how to make that display as a percentage).

I see what you mean. The grade should be shown in the format you choose.
I've created an Improvement request TL-20348 Enable Course Completion Status block grade display config for the functionality.
