Certifications on hold - to hide or not to hide?

Hello

We have a couple of clients who have to put some certifications on hold. They'd ideally like to leave all the user groups assigned to all the certifications.

We've suggested to hide them, but messages still trigger to users. Is this functionality correct - it can create a lot of admin for the client if they have to remove every message for the period the titles are on hold.

I've also noticed hidden certifications still show for users in the Upcoming certifications block.

Any other suggestions for suitable processes when dealing with 'on hold' programs or certifications?

Hi Duncan

Are you using dynamic audiences to assign users to the certification - if you are then you could unassign the users with a new rule based on a date . Then untick the box Make a user a member when they meet rule set criteria and remove the new rule. this would prevent new members being added but keep the rules in place.

I don't think that hidden certification should show up in the Upcoming certifications block if the certification is hidden. I tried this out and was able to reproduce in v 11 - this was fixed in an earlier version I will file a bug to get this fixed.

Unfortunately the role out is assigned via Organisation (and Individuals as a result of completion upload)

An issue has been found and fixed with the audience visibility and the Upcoming Certifications block.

I am not sure of your setup browser wise etc as had difficulty reproducing again - can you provide more detail?
