Reflection time prior to submitting self assessment

Hi All

We're setting up appraisals in v12 with Manager viewing and answers. The client wants the user to spend some time drafting their comments and self assessment prior to submitting it for the manager to view. So create as DRAFT and SUBMIT when ready.

Likewise they don't want managers firing from the hip so they want the manger to provide feedback in draft and then submit after a (short) period of reflection. Has anyone had any experience of this functionality and can you give us some guidance?

Hi Mark

There is some ability in the text editor to save draft content - this isn't obvious to the user until reaccessing the content. The text editor also has a Undo and redo button

Some of the content may not be in text editor though.

There is an existing feature request TL-19999 Autosave Appraisals that is discussed here that you can add your support to.
