I've just import some course completions for courses that are in a certification.
I expected all assigned users' certification status' to be updated, but they aren't.
Is this expected behavior, or might I have missed a step. Please tell me I missed a step :) :)

The Certification status should update when it is required - this isn't immediate as they are processed by cron and also there are a number of different scenarios depending on expiry dates, whether it is a recertification or primary certification so the certification status may not be required to change.
If you go into the Certification completion editor and go into one of the users who has had a course completion uploaded you should be able to see what has happened when the course completion record has been uploaded.
