System lock up/slow down when adjusting competencies in learning plans

Hi all,

I am experiencing massive system slow down when adjusting competencies (the scales i.e. not started, in progress, completed) and other things such as course due dates within a learning plan, I'm talking about minutes per change and that's when it's not locking up altogether.

I have been in touch with our Totara partner who have upgraded both the computing server and the database server which has not resolved it. They have advised that perhaps it may be an issue with the code and upgrading to the latest version might fix it.

This is a real killer for me as it's rendering the use of LP's and competencies useless.  Is there anyone on here that could help?

Many thanks in advance!

Chris

Hi Chris,

I sorry to hear you've had this experience.

We've contacted your Partner with a view to resolving this situation as quickly as possible, we'll ask them to submit a Support ticket to our Helpdesk and have our Dev team investigate if necessary.

They will be in touch shortly.

cheers,

George.

Hi George,

Thanks for getting in touch, I appreciate it.

I can confirm that they have been in touch, so thank you for that also - not that I ever have an issue getting hold of them - I don't, they are really good it's just I wanted to ask on here instead of pestering them with the same thing, thought perhaps I could find a cause or even a solution.

Thanks again!
