Hi everyone,

This week is Learning Technologies in London; Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work. If you’re coming then here’s a few highlights from some of the free seminars you might like to attend:

Wednesday 12th February

Lars Hyland Chief Learning Officer at Totara will be kicking off the day at 10.15 in Theatre 1. Join Lars to discover Why an integrated ecosystem drivers learning, performance and engagement in the workplace. Lars will discuss:

  • What underpins motivation in the workplace
  • Why flexibility is the critical success factor for workplace technology investment
  • The benefits of close integration
  • The changing role and responsibility of HR and L&D teams

If you miss the session, Lars will be repeating it on Thursday at 1.15pm in Theatre 1.

At 11.00 in Theatre 9 Mark Edmonds, Account Director at Engage in Learning will be looking at the best ways to Engage learners in compliance training.

At 11.45 in Theatre 4– John Williams, Marketing Director of City & Guilds Group / Kineo will discuss What can L&D learn from Marketing? John will explore how to apply marketing and communication disciplines that will give measurable impact and results. If you’re interested in this topic you can also have a look at this webinar on demand by Bianca Baumann which is on a similar topic.

Also at 11.45 in Theatre 7 - Benn Cass, Customer Solutions Architect at eThink Education will be Hacking the LMS Evaluation process to help you have a smooth selection process when choosing an LMS for your organisation.

Thursday 13th February

Join Rebecca Iveson, Business Development Manager at Chambury Learning Solutions at 14.00 in Theatre 11 for Voice of the Customer: Totara supporting a Plasterboard Manufacturing Plant. In this session you can learn how Etex have moved from multiple disparate ways of managing training to a single, cohesive platform to ensure compliance.
