Remarking a quiz

Remarking a quiz

Hi All,

I have some quizzes set for each attempt to build on the last. Is there a setting that allows the trainer to only mark questions that have been edited by the learner?

At the moment in a quiz where a learner only missed a couple of questions the trainer is being asked to remark the whole quiz. Is that the expected behaviour?

Many thanks

James

Hi James

Most quiz question types are automatically marked so don't require trainer intervention - what type of questions are you using?

If you are using essay questions then you may be able to use assignments that offer a number of submission and feedback plugins.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your response. This quiz is made up of short answer questions. So it sounds like the trainer will have to remark each question for each attempt.

James

Hi James

Thanks for the information - the short answer question allows auto grading by matching characters in answers to what the learner has provided and allocating a grade

If autograde is not used then the trainer will need to remark the questions that aren't automatically graded.

Thanks Craig, I'll look into that.
