Hi all,
My trainer isn't getting notifications for submitted quiz attempts. I can't find a specific setting in the quiz or notification preferences but the Totara 10 documentation says it is one of the possible messagings outputs

The quiz messages are set under the user's Preferences > Notification preferences rather than Message preferences. I will get the documentation changed to reflect this.

This looks as though you are in the right place .
They appear for me between Lesson and System in Totara 10.
Are you logged in with a role that doesn't have all of the quiz permissions?

Hmmm that's weird,
I am logged in as a Tech Admin so I assume I should have those permissions. Might have to check with our partner. Strangely the quiz options don't show on the Totara demo site either, see attached.

What specific version of Totara are you using - I am using 12.15 but the menu shouldn't have changed between versions .
The demo site has some restricted permissions for the admin account.

I think you are logging in as Site manager and the default permissions for this role is not to receive quiz notifications.
Go to Site admin > Users > Permissions > Define roles and select the role you want to receive notifications and allow the notifications you want for the role
