Capturing coaching logs / check ins

Hi there,

We're currently exploring ways to capture coaching logs and monthly check ins since our organisation does a lot of side-by-side training. We're in the process of upgrading to Totara 12 from 2.9 (hooray!) so was wondering what other Totara 12 users are doing to capture this kind of training?? Are there new features that makes it easier for a team leader to track and capture coaching sessions?

I've found that although the other evidence and OJT activities can be used, they're admin and time heavy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

We are currently looking at finding a way to do something similar. Have you had any luck finding a solution?

Learning plan comments can be used to capture dialogue between learner and managers with notifications when comments are made.

Currently Appraisals can create different questions types to establish dialogue between learner/ managers and others. These will have more functionality including notifications and reporting in Totara 13 with the creation of questions for activities and also a check-in type activity.

Thanks Craig. Is there anything specific for Totara Cloud?

We are just scouting for solutions at the moment so wanted to chek=ck the Totara space.

Appraisals aren't currently included in the Cloud offering but Learning plans are.

We are reviewing the Cloud offering and Totara 13 is also coming so there will be some more options in this area in the future.
