I'm looking to edit or delete a forum post (as admin) but I can't find the way to do it. Who can help?

Group Totara

Hi Michael

There are two permissions 'Edit any post' and 'Delete any posts (anytime)' that you need to you should allow for the role that the user has.

The Site manager has these permissions allowed by default - click the following link for more details on  editing roles

Hi Craig, thank you for your answer.

You sent me an answer for Totara Learn though. I was looking for an answer for Totara Social 🙂

Group Totara

Hi Michael

Apologies for replying for the wrong product.

I think that the forum editing is controlled through the Group settings.

There is a Group content setting where you can choose Who can Create and edit content - the choice is Group administrators, all group members,, everyone except standard members.

You can see the members and member types in the Members tab of the group.

If you select the forums tab >Settings there is a setting for who can create topics and also who are the moderators for the group

See forum settings for more details
