Force recertification before due date?

Hello,

Due the the current situation, I have a customer who wants to let some of their learners go to the recertification path before the 3 years we initially set. The certification & the recertification are the same course.

I did not find a way to do so:

- Keep the info ("the course had been completed at least once")

- Force to start the recertification path ("the course is set to 0% and the SCORM activities & quizzes are reset" but "the previous scores from the quizzes still saved with the old dates")

Should I go and reset manually a date somewhere? I activated the certification completion editor but I'm a bit lost with the impacts.

Thanks in advance for your help !

Hi Joyce

From reading your requirements all I think you need to do is to increase the 'Period window opens before expiration' time from 1 year to something longer.

This would affect every user and the course and activity will be reset when this period starts. People who haven't completed the certification would not be eligible for recertification so wouldn't be reset.

There is some more detailed explanation of assignment due dates  if the above doesn't meet your requirements.
