Hello,

I want a single place to view a learner's multiple attempts for each assessment, in order to see if they have had difficulty in progressing ie if they have taken 3 attempts for each assessment before passing this would indicate further support is required

 I can get the data by going into each quiz but as there are 12 quizzes, this will take too long to do.

Taking this example  I can see
- highest attempts (see screengrab 1)
- number of attempts for each quiz (see screengrab 2)

what I would like to see is one page with the number of attempts and grades for each assessment.


Does anyone know if this is this possible?

Hi Shaista

There are details of quiz attempts available - this is on a quiz by quiz basis though.


Is there a way that you can combine the 12 quizzes into one quiz - by having categories rather than separate quizzes. 

Each category can have its own category grade calculation  and own custom formulas

The problem we have with this approach (which we did initially try) is that the reporting for users was not so good. Line managers could not easily track progress within the course and we found Programmes was a better way of reporting progress using the Programme Overview Report which shows which modules (courses) have been completed within the programme

It would appear by improving the user experience we have lost some admin functionality which is a shame.

Ideally we would like the functionality you describe at the programme level.
