Hi,

I had a date/time change notification disabled on a workshop that shouldn't have been.

Is it possible to trigger the workshop to send out the notification after the change?

thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,

No.

But - you could add a new notification and send it out immediately, or you could schedule it.

Navigate to Seminar admin>Notifications and select Add at the foot of the page.

With messages you have to be careful what you do, you don't want to send out confusing material, - I'd advise setting up a dummy workshop with a test account and have a play around with the functionality until you're confident about how it works, then you can add a new notification and send it out. I'd disable it after its sent - any further changes can be picked up by the existing date/time change message (which you should enable).

cheers,

George.

Hi George,

As it was a change of location rather that a change of date/time that was required what we did was create a duplicate room and then selected that room to trigger the change notification

We then deleted the extra room.

Thanks,
Larry
