We are using Totara Learn v12.
I am Site Admin and I am logged in as User John. User John has the Course Creator role in Category ABC.
User John created a course and is enrolled as Editing Trainer, but I can't see the clickology for User John deleting that course.
Follow on question is if User Sam also has the Course Creator role for Category ABC, can he help manage the courses in the Category and delete courses that User John created that are no longer needed?

Thank you for posting your request.
In order for Course Creators to manage and delete courses within a category they require the 'Manage categories' capability. This is not set by default for this particular role.
So, Site Admin Bianca can either update the Course Creator role at the site level so John and Sam can create, edit and delete courses across all Categories, or she can override the standard permissions for Course Creator for specific Categories.

I do want to explore the other option you mentioned, i.e. "...override the standard permissions for Course Creator for specific Categories.
? I just perused the documentation link you sent, but didn't see the "how to" on overriding standard permissions for Course Creator in a specific Category. Any chance you could point me to the right place in the documentation or tell me the series of clicks to get there?

There are two ways to access the permissions area for a category, so I've hovered over option 1 but completed the steps using option 2.
