Hi,
we use quizes with open essary questions, we only want to trigger a reply but not necessarily grade this reply, how can those responses be graded to complete the quiz automatically?

I can't see a way to get an essay question to automatically grade.
Another way this can be achieved is by creating a short answer question and accepting any answer as correct using the wildcard *
This will mean the answer is automatically graded irrespective of the answer so the quiz can completed automatically.
