I've been reviewing the Competency training courses within Totara and have created frameworks and scales. I'm now attempting to assign a competency to a user/group of users but I'm not presented with that option. I've checked plug-ins, advanced features, etc. but I'm not seeing where this should be allowed. I've included a screenshot for reference. What suggestions could you recommend to address this?

Hi Ian,
You can do this via a Learning Plan, you can award competencies manually or by Course completion. The Learning plan is a structured framework where you can set out what the learner needs to do to hit their targets.
We have a course available in the Academy you may want to have a look at.
We realise that this can be a bit of a cumbersome process and that's why we've completely revised the Performance functionality in t13, where is it possible to assign competencies directly.

Thank you George, I've watched the V13 tutorial on Competencies and it is a marked improvement. Thank you for the tips on how to get those assignments completed in V12
