Hi all,
How does everyone manage new starters and mandatory modules when using certifications? We are exploring this option but not sure how to manage new starters without having separate certifications.
Thanks

Hi Shannon
Are you able to put the new starters into an audience based on a field value such as position start date ?
The audience can be enrolled in the certification with a due date based on the enrolment date with the mandatory courses in course sets in the order required.
Can you tell us more about the certification structure -
Regards
Hi Craig,
Yes we have a new starter audience which we currently use for online induction purposes.
The certification only contains one course but it will need to be completed annually. We used a program last year and realise now that it's much easier to use a certification however we haven't explored this option before.
For example we introduced GDPR online last year in Feb to 600 colleagues - they are all now due to renewal. We aren't asking anyone who completed their GDPR training within the last 6 months (these are the colleagues in our new starter audience). However, they will need to complete it again this year, but it will obviously be later on in the year.
However, I see your comment about an audience being enrolled in the certification with a due date based on enrolment - how would this work if we enrolled them onto the certification at the same time as everyone else?
Thanks for your help
Kind regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon
Thanks for details of the certification requirements.
It is possible to set different assignment due date for audiences so you could set the assignment due date for the new starter audience to be a fixed or relative date at a later time than the existing users.
