Course Completion

Hi,

Sometimes we create groups inside a course to separate the activities that each group need accessing.

For example, group A should take quiz 1 and group B should take quiz 2.

When both quizzes and other activities are set as the criteria in course completion, the user cannot complete the course because the user is meant to complete either quiz 1 or quiz 2 but all users must complete other activities.

So none of my users can actually achieve completion in this course unless I change the criteria to only complete EITHER quiz 1 OR quiz 2 and does not include other activities.

Is there anyone having the same issue? How should I set the course completion when there are activities that are separated for groups?

Hi Jennifer

The course completion criteria doesn't support the EITHER logic as well as ALL

You will need to rely on the Course grade for completion of the course.

The course grade calculation can include functions such as Maximum of the two quizzes and include this to calculate the grade required to pass the course. You can also require the compulsory activities to be completed.

We are also in a dilemma why the course completion does not work for us.

Also we need help on Load balancing. Are there any Totara training companies?
