Someone can create a certification in Totara but how do I find out who it was?

Hi Julian

The Site Logs report source has a Description that will show as 'This program xx was created by user x'

xx is the Certifications idnumber - you can see this at the end of the URL as ?id=xx when viewing  the Certification

x is the user idnumber - you can see this at the end of the URL as ?id=xx when viewing  the user profile

If you set the filter to the description of the Certification number you are looking for you should be able to check who created this

Hi Craig,

Many thanks for your swift reply.

V helpful! Works well.

Having said that, would it be possible for Totara to make a change that would display this info more easily in a report - or as part of the cert settings display?

Just a thought. :-)

Kind rgds

Julian

Hi Julian

I agree that this information is hard to find - there is some information in the certification completion editor that shows any changes to certification settings which affect the assigned users.

This is probably more important than who originally created the Certification and shows detail of the changes and the effect of the change to the user.
