Course search block not going to grid catalog view

Good day,

Recently we went to the grid view of the catalog in our Totara 12 and I realized that the Course Search Block on the Dashboard takes you to the list/category view of course and doesn't show the graphical grid view for the courses. Is there a way to have the Course Search Block on the Dashboard show the grid view of the courses?

Is there some setting I am missing?

Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

Hi Malinda

There isn't anything in the Course search block that you can configure to select Catalog Grid format.

The Grid catalogue does more than find courses though it also finds programs, resources, playlists

You could add a HTML block and add a link to the catalog page but there is not much advantage as you can add a link to catalog on the main menu.
