Hi Gaspar,
I achieve this by creating the audience, and then assigning that audience a system-wide role (with no permissions), and then changing the Permissions against the target block to only show to those with that role! You can have multiple roles to show/hide particular blocks.
This seems to work perfectly fine, and means we can hide things like:
- the self-completion block to those in a Program, but show to other learners (as the course has multiple SCORM modules, and can be used for refreshers)
- Custom blocks (Ausmed CPD) to only show with those that have access to Ausmed
- Show HTML blocks to trainers etc.
