Unsuspending site admin accounts

Hi - we have a daily HR import running which suspends users after they have been absent for a set amount of days. One of our site admins has returned to work but as there is a 24 hour delay between the return to work and the HR import, the admin is currently suspended.

Usually for unsuspension we would click the little eye icon to unsuspend a user but we can't do this for the site administrator. We've noticed that the check box for "suspended account" is greyed out when we amend user information.

Obviously the easiest solution is to wait until the HR import runs but this means the site admin is essentially out of action for a day. We tried to remove the Site Admin permission to see if this enabled suspension and unsupension of this user but that did not work either.

Any input or advice on how to re-enable suspension and unsuspension for this user would be much appreciated.

Hi Sam

The ability to suspend or delete a site administrator has been disabled to prevent the only active Site Admin being locked out of the system and no one able to perform site admin functions.

I can't see a way around this apart from using the HR Import as you can't login as a site admin and can't access the account to make it a non site admin.

What would be needed is  before the site admin user is suspended  they need to be unassigned as a Site admin

Hopefully someone else may have a workaround
