It looks like the drop-down responses are simply populated via manually typing in a list of answers (as shown at the bottom of the attached screenshot). Is there a way to automate this somehow (e.g., connect a dataset with a list that will auto-update the answer list) by either an audience, role, or a certain login credential?

In theory if you can copy some text that has line breaks in it and then paste into the Question text box as plain text then each line will be an answer option. Can you see if this works?
The dynamic answers doesn't sound a good idea as this could update existing answers if options change . The answer that was displayed when the user selected it should be the one stored.
