Hello

Is there a way to make the search field in the admin quick-access menu appear for Site Manager or any bespoke role. I can't see a permission associated with this.

Hi Duncan

It's tied to moodle/site:config so you can assign that to a role but it also confers a lot of site-level privilege so may not be appropriate for all users.

Hi Duncan

We have a feature request for this TL-28556 

We do not recommend allowing  the site:config permission for non site admins as it  allow changes to the all site configuration settings which could cause problems if used without experience for the whole site.
