Certification Window Open Messaging Link Not Working

Ce forum a une limite du nombre de messages que vous pouvez poster durant une période donnée. Cette limite est actuellement de 3 message(s) durant 1 jour

We have messaging set up to send out when a certification window opens.

We have a custom message set up for when the email is sent to our users however there is also a link populated which directs the user to the certification at the bottom.

It is not within our custom message so i cannot remove it.

There are 2 problems:

1. The link does not direct where we want the learners to go

2. Actually clicking the link doesn't work either

Does anyone know where / how this can be removed or changed?

This sounds like a bug - can you confirm what version of Totara you are using and whether you are using the new centralised notification where you can select placeholders for the message?

If you are using the older version then you aren't able to change this - it is a placeholder that should be adding the correct link to the certification.

Are you able to create a ticket to fix this?

We have a similar issue, we are using Version 12. Here is a link to the forum post I raised.

Basically as it is a global setting and it cannot be turned off. Craig did say it was on the radar and would be looked at once version 14 had been released.

Hi Sue

Centralised notifications for programs/certifications were introduced in Totara 14 . This included the use of an editor to create the full message and the ability to add placeholders and multi language content.

This means the notification can have the content and placeholders edited and formatted using the text editor
