• Share your ideas around onboarding best practice 

• Reflect on how you’re currently using your Totara platform to onboard 

• Ask questions and connect with your peers

If you’d like to share how you onboard your own new starters, why not record a short video and add it to the workspace so everyone can learn from each other? Some of your peers have already started doing this, see this video from the Met Office for example. 

Create a coaching culture in your organisation 

As well as the onboarding course we also have a course focused on coaching. If you’re trying to create a coaching culture in your organisation, your Managers need to know when and how to have coaching conversations. You’ll also need a tool in place that enables Managers and team members to identify an appropriate coach, with structures in place that coaches can use, such as goals, competencies and agreed communication tools.
