Reminder notices sent prior to canceled event

One of my admins canceled an event with 3 attendees one month before scheduled event date.  Two days before the event, a reminder notice was sent for that event.  It gave no indication the event was canceled.  Are we missing something?  

I tested it and didn't find any setting that indicated we needed to do anything extra to cancel notifications associated with the canceled event.  Why would we want attendees to receive reminders about canceled events?  Are we missing a step somewhere?

Hi Jacque

Cancelling the event should prevent the reminder going out.

There was a bug that was fixed in version 13.13, 14.5 and 15.0 that fixed a similar issue - what version of Totara are you using.

if you have a more recent version are you or your partner able to create a support ticket with details about versions and settings sued?

Hi Craig, 

We are on version 12.9 still and preparing to upgrade soon.  Good to know upgrading should fix the issue.
