Hello, I encounter issues with setting up a course and down the road needing to update the SCORM file. When I update the SCORM file, learners are unable to bookmark where they left off and complete the rest of the course in the new SCORM file.

I would like to set up a master version of the course and set up a new version of the course if needed. My thought is that people enrolled in the original version will be able to complete the course/SCORM file and new people will be enrolled in the new, updated version and complete the new SCORM.

Is this possible to set up in Totara Learn? If not, is there another way to approach this issue?

Hi Nori

Are you able to check the file imsmanifest.xml in the SCORM package has the same item identifiers that the original SCORM had so the tracking data is retained?

Hello,

We have this issue currently with Totara 17. The IMS manifest ID number is the same on both the old and new file, and it still is deleting all attempts statuses!
