Hi everyone.

I have a GIFT file for importing Questions into a Question Bank. The file imports successfully into the appropriate Categories.


After import, each question within the QuestionBank, setting of "Shuffle the choices" is selected. Which means, I have to manually change each question in the QuestionBank.


Please note that the Quiz Activities setting of "Shuffle within questions" is set to "No". However, when I use the QuestionBank questions in these Quiz Activities, it defaults to the questions' "Shuffle the choices" setting.


Can I turn off "Shuffle the choices" for each question when importing? Or once imported, can I turn off "Shuffle the choices" for all the questions at the same time?

Hi Tammy

It doesn't look as though the GIFT import format allows you to set default settings when importing.

One workaround is to export all imported questions into XML format, and change the settings via Find/Replace in bulk and re-import these again.
