I noticed that Seminar custom fields (short name) in Totara 13 permitted the use of characters such as an underscore _ in the short name.
However when i try to re create the same in Totara 18 seminar,
the short name custom field does not allow me to use underscore and prompts to only use numbers or alphabets.
is there any way this can be changed ? to allow extended characters.

Can you go into the custom field and check that the Short name is showing with the underscore character?
When I tried the underscore character was deleted in the shortname once it was saved in Totara 13

It does show up for me on the 13 instance.
That's weird, any reason why it would work on my instance and not show up on yours?
Or can it be any custom modification ?

I am using an unmodified version of 13 so maybe you have a modified version or earlier release of 13.
