We are wanting to create tenants in TTR 18 linked to an audience which works fine BUT we also want that audience to be dynamic with rule sets to user profile fields. Is there a reason we cannot change the tenant audience from being a "Set" type audience to a Dynamic?
We are able to set up rules for both Dynamic and Set audiences with rules using cnw_cohort plugin found on Moodle.org but we want to use the core functionality of Dynamic audiences with our tenants.

It isn't just in tenant audience it is also in system audiences that you can't change the Audience type. The reason is probably that changing from set to dynamic is going to take all of the members from the set audience out of the dynamic audience and could lead to unenrolling in learning and losing of learning records.
A way of getting around this could be to create a new dynamic audience and include a rule - is a member of the set audience so the selection of set audience members can be controlled .

We switched out the cohortid to a dynamic cohort in ttr_tenant and now we have the versatility of a dynamic audience/cohort with our tenants.
