Hi, I have been setting up legacy notifications for seminar on totara v18.

Have faced alot of issues and i really request you to assist me on each of these in the most detailed manner.. I would truly appreciate it. it's 4 am and i am trying my level best to fix all of these issues!!

also if you could provide me a list of whatever open issues you are aware of for LEGACY SEMINAR notification templates.?

  1. the template Seminar booking request: [seminarname], [eventperiod] is not being sent to the users manager assigned to that user from their profile. while i correctly receive a notification for the learner. the same is not being sent to the manager. there are a few other templates that are behaving the same way (Seminar booking admin request: [seminarname], [eventperiod]), but i am assuming, it's all linked to the same issue. can you please help ?

  2. For the All reservations cancelled AND Reservation cancellation notifications I simply could not understand and figure out a trigger as to what would send out these notifications? I tried reserving a team and managers within an event, and then tried cancelling those sessions. But that didnt help. can you please help me with the exact trigger point for these? also any hidden settings that i may be missing out on ?

  3. The Seminar booking role request says that:

    When a session is set to require approval from an event role then any users assigned that role (e.g. Editing Trainer) will receive a notification when there is a pending approval request.

    I saw the User Approval page when they sign up for an event. however i am not sure where this session approval can be enabled? i couldnt find any way. please help if im going about the wrong way thinking of this triggeR?
    even the user approval email is only getting sent to the user, however it is not getting sent to the manager. that's another issue as well.

  4. i keep getting Seminar date/time changed: notifications whenever i make changes in the session time, or even time or sign up change. but whats the difference between that and seminar booking date/time changed ?

    seminar booking date/time changed AND seminar session date/time changed are mentioned on the documentation https://totara.help/docs/default-legacy-seminar-notifications
    however in legacy notification templates on totara:
    seminar date/time changed and seminar session date/time changed are mentioned. there is NO seminar booking date/time change notification template
    why are there such discrepancies? i am unable to understand.

  5. could you also throw some light on the virtual meeting creation failure template.
    when this specific notification shoots out and is there any way i can create that environment so the email will shoot out ?
