Is it possible to prevent a parent competency from being selected/assigned within a Learning Plan?
We have a competency framework comprised of a number competency areas (parents) which then contain the actual competencies (children) and we only want a Learner to be able to select the child and not the parent. Is this possible?

It is possible to Hide the parent competency so it is not available for selection in the Learning Plan.- the child competency will still be able to be selected.
If you view the competency as an admin and click on the eye icon to Hide it

Many thanks for your help with this but if I hide the parent (by clicking on the eye icon) then none of the children are visible to the learner, am I missing something?
We're using Totara version 18.7 (Build: 20240617.00)

I was using 17 where the hidden parent competency I was able to browse the child competency
When I tried in 18 when I Browsed I wasn't able to find this I could only find by searching
I will check with the product team if this is intentional
