We are currently handling the hosting of our Totara application in-house. However, we are encountering a significant challenge related to storage issues, both in terms of disk space and our database server. One of the primary contributing factors to this problem is that our course creators are developing courses that include lengthy videos with high quality graphics.
Given this situation, I have a couple of questions and would greatly appreciate your expert opinions:
1. For those of you who are hosting the Totara application in-house, how do you manage and handle large video files within your courses? Are there any best practices or strategies that you could share with us?
2. I need to extract a report from the Totara system that details the amount of space occupied by each course. Could anyone provide guidance or instructions on how to generate such a report?
