Hi there,
I am attempting to edit an Evidence type. I want to make the 'Date Completed' field mandatory instead of optional.
However, it is not giving me the option to make it mandatory.
I suspect this is because the evidence type is in use. How do I fix this?

That's right once a evidence type it can't be edited or deleted unfortunately
It is possible to upload evidence through upload course completions but the existing records will still remain.

Once questions have been answered with a set of values and you change the values there is a risk of data loss as the old value s will have the new values applied eg in multi choice options.
In the case of changing from optional to compulsory field there could be records with no data which would break the compulsory field constraint
