Adding a Hyperlink on an evidence form

Adding a Hyperlink on an evidence form

We use evidence in my company for the recording of PDR conversations. The manager creates it against the worker. It's working really well and we've seen a significant uplift in completions. We're now at the point where we are designing a new version.

In the current version we have a link to the guidance notes in the description. I'd like to add a link to our guidance notes on the form itself. I can't find a way to do this at all.

Adding a hyperlink as the default text for a field doesn't work sufficiently as you have to right mouse click to open the link.

Is what I'm wanting to do actually possible? Any ideas?

Hi Kirsty

Possibly using the Static content Element type in the performance activity

  • inserting a link to the URL in the editor

  • Ticking Open in new window

This will open the link in a new window soo the performance activity will still be visible

Hi Craig. Thanks for the reply.

I can't see how you can do that in Learn using the evidence forms. Can you perhaps add a bit more detail or link me to a 'how do I' guide for numpties…

Hi Kirsty,

Thanks for this question.

I'm not entirely sure which functionality you're referring to when you describe "evidence forms" - do you have a screenshot and the URL (I don't need the domain, just the end part that helps me make sure I'm looking at the same thing).

Thanks

Tom

Apologies - I should have said evidence type not evidence form.

We're using evidence and have created a specific evidence type.
